    • Thank you, Faithful Friends!
Thank you to all of our guests who attended the 2013 Faithful Friends Gala!  Almost 400 guests helped us celebrate our 10th year of service to those with developmental disabilities.  May God bless you for your kindness and generosity to Visitation Home!
    • Welcome to our Community!
Visitation Home is a Catholic shared living residence (open to all faiths) for people with developmental disabilities.  Visitation home was established September 15, 2000.  Our first home was opened November 1, 2003 and on November 2, 2003 we welcomed our first resident.  Soon, our first home was filled to capacity and we expanded our "little" community with a second home next door.  We are now in the process of building a third home which will enable us to welcome more residents and continue to grow our family.

Visitation Home is more than just a group home – it is a place where many people from diverse backgrounds come and spend time with the residents for meals, prayer, community gatherings, chores and fun activities. Through these interactions a bond is formed, along with a desire to spend more time with the people.  We believe this happens because God has chosen each person who wishes to share time at our homes, to be an important part of our community.  It is a mystery of grace - something you will discover for yourself when you come to visit!

Visitation Home is a private, non profit organization that depends primarily on the generosity of our benefactors.  We are most grateful to all who have helped in any way and our benefactors are prayed for daily.  Please, if you are able, consider helping us with volunteer time or monetary donations. All monies go directly to the support of the home and our residents. Thank you very much.

    • Our Mission
Visitation Home is a Catholic community (open to all faiths) where people with developmental disabilities and those without, live together as family, called by the truth of the Gospel principle that human life is sacred at every stage and in every situation. We recognize our responsibility to grow in a spirit of openness, simplicity, and love through meaningful relationships. It is through these relationships that we discover each other's gifts and the inherent dignity of each individual.
